ACTSIA and ScreenACT aim to serve all patrons and constituents equally and with respect and courtesy. We aim to hold our workshops and seminars in a safe, respectful environment of collaborative learning without undue disruption, coarse language, or threatening behaviour.
ScreenACT expects their staff, presenters and all other participants to be treated in a reasonable and respectful manner. ACTSIA and ScreenACT reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone who behaves in a way contrary to these aims and expected standard of behaviour.
If you cancel:
- Two full weeks prior to the commencement of an event, you will be refunded the full amount paid.
- Within two full weeks prior to the event, you will be refunded 70% of the full amount paid.
- After the event commences, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund except in exceptional circumstances.
Please note that no part of this publication may be reproduced by any process, electronic or otherwise, in any material form or transmitted to any other person or stored electronically in any form, without the prior written permission of the ACT Screen Industry Association unless as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968.

ACTISA collects information on our site visitors collectively including which sections of the site are most frequently visited, how often and for how long. Access to Your Personal Information
You have complete control over your information via My Dashboard. You can change your details, update links, directories, choose what information can be seen publicly and what remains private within your own profile.
ACTSIA web servers gather your IP address to assist with the diagnosis of problems or support issues with our services. Again, information is gathered in aggregate only and cannot be traced to an individual user.
Cookies & Applets
This website utilises cookies to provide you with a better user experience. These cookies and applets allow you to utilise specific services such as updating your information in the Crew Database. Users who do not wish to receive cookies can instruct their web browsers to refuse them. However, doing so will prevent access to some areas of the site and limit your use of some parts of our site.
ACTISA Members and Non-Members
ACTSIA collects information on any user who becomes a member or signs up a free user to the website. We collect personal information directly from you when you set up your profile. This is for communications purposes only and this information is not passed onto any individual or organisation, without your permission.
ACTISA and ScreenACT distributes regular newsletters outlining current events and opportunities. You can opt out of receiving newsletters in your personal profile.
Storage & Security of Personal Information
ACTSIA takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system. Any information which we hold for you is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by ACTSIA. However, ACTSIA will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access of your personal information.
Privacy & Site Changes
ACTISA may review and update its privacy statement. Revised versions will be updated on the website.
